The Nottingham University China campus provides Global Full Scholarships for international
learners which aspire to award excellence and facilitate variousness within the learner body.
The University of Nottingham Ningbo China (UNNC) is a university established in the
municipality (city) of Ningbo in the seaside region of Zhejiang, close to Shanghai, China. It is
affiliated with the University of Nottingham in the United Kingdom (UK). The university was the
first Sino-foreign university to unlock its entrances in China, in 2004, with the permission of the
Chinese Ministry of Education.
It is operated by the Nottingham United Kingdom, in partnership with Zhejiang’s Wanli Education
Group (Zhejiang Wanli University).
Eligibility Standards For The Global Full Scholarships:
Undergraduate
- Be a domicile of overseas/HMT candidates who have applied.
- Excellence-based preference based on excellent educational accomplishment having
accomplished at minimum prerequisites of AAA in A-level; IB 36 points or equivalent for
Qualifying year entry; or AAAAA in IGCSE or comparable for Primary session admission, as
discerned at the time of admission.
Postgraduate
- Be a domicile of overseas/HMT recipients who applied.
2. Merit-based preference based on exceptional educational accomplishment having fulfilled at
minimum prerequisites of United States first class (70) or equal, as discerned at the time of
admission.

Significance of Scholarships:
- Nottingham Global Full scholarship is worth the sum of RMB 110,000 for each student, the
equivalent of 100 percent toward the first year of undergraduate education expenditures
respectively.
2. This scholarship is an entrance scholarship exclusively. The expenditures will be waived from
learners’ first year’s education payment or will be reimbursed to learners if the full schooling
expenditure is paid.
Procedure of Application: Separated application for the Nottingham Global Full Scholarship is
mandated. To complete the Nottingham Global Full Scholarship application, a filled scholarship
application form is mandated to submit to international_admissions@nottingham.edu.cn by the
appointed closing date. In addition, due to the nature of competition, candidates will be
automatically assessed for the following qualified scholarships accessible should he/she miss
the first round of selection until the percentage is filled.
