Candidates must fulfill the following requirements to be eligible for the Government of Mauritius Africa Scholarship Scheme:

• The applicants must be residents of African Commonwealth or African Union member nations.
• Candidates for college programs must be older than 18 years old.
• Candidates for Ph.D. programs should be at most 40 on January 1, 2024.
• The academic year beginning in 2023 requires applicants to have already applied to a full-time on-campus study. Either a Mphil, diploma, degree, or Ph.D. at a public higher education institution in Mauritius.

• Bachelor’s Degree: Three (3) Years
• Bachelor’s Degree: four (4) years
• MPhil/Ph.D.: four years plus six months to transition from MPhil to Ph.D.;
