The University of Macau (UM) accepts applications from candidates with distinguished academic records. International candidates who satisfy the admission requirements for the relevant degree program are encouraged to apply for UM’s full-time Bachelor’s and Master’s degree programs.
The International Student Scholarship aims to entice more foreign students to attend the University of Macau. (UM). Both Bachelor’s and Master’s students are eligible for the grant.

Eligibility requirements
To qualify for the University of Macau’s international student scholarships, candidates must fulfill the following requirements:
- International students must be the applicants.
- Candidates must possess a diploma for a bachelor’s degree.
- Applicants from abroad who satisfy the requirements for admission to the full-time Bachelor’s and Master’s degree programs at UM.
- A candidate whose country of citizenship is China (including Macao SAR, Hong Kong SAR, and Taiwan China) is not considered.
Scholarship Advantages (for Bachelors degree)

- An honors college certificate program, and a minor program, if available. (if applicable).
- The maximum term of the scholarship is the accepted program’s four or five-year normal study time.
Scholarship Package (for Masters degree)
- Tuition,
- As well as, the Postgraduate lodge (twin room) charge is waived.
- The maximum term of the scholarship is the two- or three-year normal study time of the accepted program.

How to Apply: Eligible applicants will be immediately considered for the University of Macau International Students Scholarships. There isn’t a distinct scholarship application needed.
